The Fatherhood Program at CDR is very excited to be offering 24/7 Dads workshops. 24/7 Dads is the nation’s foremost evidence-based parenting curriculum designed specifically for fathers. Throughout this workshop, dads and father-figures have the opportunity to reflect on their understanding of the father’s role and set goals for themselves and their families.
The 24/7 Dads series promotes father involvement and intentional living. Experienced fatherhood educators guide the sessions focused on parenting, communication, co-parenting, men’s health, and more. Our workforce partner leads sessions on financial stability and is a resource for dads that want to find a new job or advance their career.
Fathers participating in 24/7 Dads are connected to a Fatherhood Consultant who is available to work with them one-on-one to reach their goals.
The Rookie Dads program gives new and expectant fathers hands-on instruction and practice feeding a baby, diapering, and swaddling. Dads also learn techniques for soothing their baby and for reducing the stress of bedtime!
